  Exercise1. Fill in the blanks in the dialogue with one of the conjunctions like, as,                        if, as though, in the way or as .

Ali and Hakan are bored with their lives.

: Perhaps, She doesn’t like the way you speak to her.

Mrs Brown : Well, maybe she feels as if you don’t listen to her opinions.
Mrs Jones : What! She feels the same way as I do or I thought she did.
Mrs Brown
: She’s fifteen now and acts as if she were twenty-five but that’s                        normal.

: You’re right, I’ll try to change
the way I speak to her.
